Blaze Entertainment has dropped a genuine bombshell that has sent the collector community into a frenzy: The DOOM Collection leads an unprecedented wave of releases for the Evercade ecosystem, and it doesn't come alone. The company has confirmed its pre-order line-up for 30 October 2026, a date now burned into the retro calendar.
The DOOM Collection: id Software's hell lands on Evercade
The legendary FPS joins the Home Computer Collection (#11), bundling DOOM and DOOM II: Hell on Earth together with seven extra map packs, official widescreen support, save states and optimised performance. The pre-order window has already turned it into one of the most sought-after cartridges of the year. Launch price: €29.99.
The unexpected bombshell: Banjo-Kazooie Double Pack
If the DOOM announcement wasn't enough to empty wallets, the bigger surprise arrives with the Banjo-Kazooie Double Pack (Console Collection #53):
- Two Nintendo 64 classics on a single cartridge: the complete Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie, with widescreen support and a reworked camera for twin-stick play.
- Same release date: it lands alongside DOOM on 30 October 2026.

Evercade Nexus and its hotly-tipped DOOM Edition
The centrepiece of this campaign isn't limited to games. The new Evercade Nexus handheld debuts on 30 October at €199.99 — a 5.89" screen and, for the first time on an Evercade, twin analogue sticks — bundled as standard with the Banjo-Kazooie Double Pack cartridge.
For the most demanding collectors, the crown jewel is the Evercade Nexus – DOOM Edition:
- Ultra-limited run: only 3,000 units worldwide (€239.99).
